PGN Teken MoU Pasokan LNG dari KMJ 2

Jakarta - PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), which is an affiliate of Subholding Gas Pertamina, won two awards at the 2024 Indonesia Green Award (IGA) event organized by La Tofi School of Social at the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta on Wednesday (17/01).

La Tofi reported that this year's IGA provided certificates and trophies for 155 environmental conservation programs spread throughout Indonesia which are operational areas of state-owned and private companies.

The dominance of the 2024 IGA awards was achieved by the Pertamina Group through environmental programs initiated by each Subholding and Subsidiary. Including Pertagas' consistency in high concern for the environment through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in Pertagas' business units, namely Operation Central Sumatera Area (OCSA) and Operation Kalimantan Area (OKA).

The award was won by Pertagas OCSA through the category of organizing corporate social responsibility with the program Environmentally Friendly and Aware Tourist Destination "Embung Senja" which was able to provide an impact on increasing the community's economy and becoming a tourist destination in Gajah Mati Village, Musi Banyuasin Regency.

In addition, through the category of nature conservation tourism development program initiated by Pertagas OKA, the Kampung Bersama Ecotourism program was raised by introducing the cave ecosystem in the Kutai National Park, Martadinata Village, which has become a new tourist attraction in East Kutai.

Corporate Secretary of Pertagas Muhammad Baron said, "This achievement is a form of appreciation for Pertagas' consistency in implementing the CSR Program in the environmental and strengthen sustainable programs that provide added value to the community, especially around Pertagas' operational areas," he said.

Pertagas is committed to running a business management that is in accordance with the principles of Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) and supports the spirit of developing initiatives and meeting sustainable green industry standards and achieving Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs), said Baron.
