Spreading Good Energy in Ramadhan 1445 H, Subholding Gas Pertamina Distributes Assistance to 20 Foundations in Medan

Medan – PT PGN Tbk, as the Subholding Gas of Pertamina, spreads good energy during the holy month of Ramadhan by organizing operational unit visits and a program to share with orphans in the Medan work area. This event also fosters silaturahmi (relationship-building) between PGN's management and officers during Ramadhan 1445 H and serves as a form of gratitude for PGN Group's performance over the past year.

After the visit to the DPPU Subholding C&T unit and the inauguration of the HSSE Demo Room, PGN, together with SH C&T, handed over donations and assistance to 20 CSR-managed foundations affiliated with PGN in the SOR I Sumatera operational area.

"On this blessed occasion, we are given the opportunity to share goodness. With synergy, Subholding Gas, Subholding C&T, and Subholding Upstream can together provide energy to Medan and its surroundings. May this continue to be well-maintained so that energy for the community can be fulfilled in five aspects: availability, accessibility, affordability, acceptability, and sustainability," said Pertamina's Deputy CEO, Wiko Migantoro, in his speech before the symbolic donation handover to the foundations on March 18, 2024.

Wiko also reminded that Pertamina Group is currently developing its low-carbon business, where gas has significant potential. Therefore, Pertamina must be ready to enhance new competencies to become superior resources.

"Today's activity is a form of PGN's gratitude to always remember who created us. We also want to spread the spirit of togetherness through positive energy by giving charity to the foundations," said PGN's President Director, Arief Setiawan Handoko.

In the holy month of Ramadhan and in anticipation of the Idul Fitri 1445 H celebrations, PGN is committed to ensuring the supply and flow of gas to customers remains uninterrupted.
